Yesterday, the City of Annapolis sprung back to life with the start of the 2018 legislative session of the Maryland General Assembly. Among many other things Agudath Israel will be working on this session, securing funding for Jewish schools is, of course, the top priority. The Broadening Options and Opportunities Today (BOOST) program will be under the microscope of the Legislature as they study the state-mandated BOOST report that was recently submitted.

Thankfully, Governor Hogan is a strong and passionate supporter of the program and personally assured Agudath Israel’s Maryland Director Rabbi Ariel Sadwin this week that he will do everything in his power to ensure the program ctinues to grow and expand.
