They encouraged the Rabbonim to make sure that of their mispallelim participate in all of the harbatzas haTorah programs of the Daf Yomi and of course in the Siyum itself.
From there the delegation traveled to meet with the Rosh HaYeshiva of Ner Yisroel, HaRav Aharon Feldman shlita to give him an update on the Siyum and discuss various aspects and challenges regarding the Siyum. As one participant in the meeting noted, he and his friends were finishing shas for the third time because of a commitment they they made upon attending the ninth Siyum Hashas. They had promised themselves at that time that they would no longer attend the Siyum Hashas as onlookers but as participants.
“We were very encouraged by the warm and enthusiastic reception that we received in Baltimore and we look forward to working together with the askanim there to create a great Kiddush Hashas in the forthcoming community-wide Siyum Hashas,” said Rabbi Bamberger.
